Acura 2017 Model Overview

This year, Acura finally brings the long-awaited resurrection of the NSX sports car to fruition, giving the brand a much-needed injection of identity. Acura’s most popular model, the MDX crossover SUV, is freshened up for 2017 and introduces the company’s new diamond pentagon grille design. Other models are carried over with paint and interior color availability modifications.

2017 Acura ILX

• New colors summarize the changes to the ILX: San Marino Red, Modern Steel, and Lunar Silver

2017 Acura MDX

• Updated exterior styling
• Standard AcuraWatch suite of driver-assistance and collision-avoidance technologies
• New standard equipment includes automatic high-beam headlights, capless fuel filling, and quick-charge USB ports
• Technology package adds 20-in. wheels, remote engine starting, power-folding side mirrors
• Advance package adds real wood interior trim, second-row captain’s chairs with center console, heated steering wheel, surround-view camera system, and more
• Two new exterior colors: Dark Cherry and Black Copper
• New Espresso interior color

• Resurrected sports car icon showcasing Acura’s Sport Hybrid Super Handling All-Wheel Drive powertrain technology
• Engineered to achieve lowest center of gravity and centralized mass possible
• Aluminum, steel, and carbon fiber space-frame structure
• Twin-turbocharged, mid-mounted V-6 engine
• 9-speed dual-clutch transmission
• Dual electric motors in front; Direct Drive motor/generator in back
• Lithium-ion battery pack, regenerative braking system
• 573 horsepower and 476 lb.-ft. of torque in a car weighing 3,803 lbs.
• Aluminum suspension, Brembo performance brake pads and vented discs, dual-pinion variable electric steering, active exhaust system
• Quiet, Sport, Sport+, and Track driving modes

2017 Acura RDX

• Lunar Silver and Modern Steel are new paint colors
• White Diamond paint now offered with Ebony leather

2017 Acura RLX

• Acura makes no changes to the 2017 RLX
• Delayed RLX Sport Hybrid could portend unannounced changes

2017 Acura TLX

San Marino Red, Modern Steel, and Lunar Silver are new paint colors
Ebony interior color now offered with San Marino Red and Fathom Blue
