Introducing an all-new flagship sedan in the form of the CT6 in 2016, Cadillac's attention has turned to the pivotal premium crossover for the new year. Replacing the SRX, the XT5 is 278 pounds lighter than the crossover it replaces. Powered by a 310-horsepower V-6 engine, the 2017 Cadillac XT5 receives a translation of the CT6's new front design and greater interior dimensions. Another significant addition to the 2017 Cadillac lineup is a plug-in hybrid version of the CT6 indirectly replaces the retired ELR coupe. Buyers of the Cadillac Escalade now have increased freedom of maneuverability with the addition of a rear camera mirror and Automatic Parking Assist. The 2017 Cadillac CTS receives a number of styling upgrades consisting of a new grille and rear end fascia as well as updated wheel designs.
