This model year marked a busy time for the automaker with changes in the CX and MX lines. The CX-3 receives some cosmetic changes with an updated nose and cabin. Premium trim levels have some new safety add-ons including a lane-departure warning system. The CX-5 brings a 250-horsepower, 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine to the table along with a 2.2-liter turbo-diesel. The MX-5 Miata also sports a new powerplant with a 181-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. It also has a power-folding retractable hardtop available. The manufacturer also has a 30th-anniversary edition. The Mazda 3 gets new styling and the addition of the state-of-the-art Skyactive-X technology, bringing together the superior performance of both diesel and gasoline with better fuel economy and reliable responsiveness. The vehicle is a head turner. Mazda put its trim levels to pasture and instead, offers the base build with three optional packages. A hybrid version will also arrive in the coming months.
