For 2007, the BMW X5 has been completely redesigned with an enhanced emphasis on refinement. Longer in wheelbase and overall length, the 2007 BMW X5 receives brand-new engine power and continues to offer a wide array of high-tech comfort features. BMW's smaller premium utility vehicle, the X3, receives a minor design adjustment and a significant powertrain enhancement for 2007. The renamed BMW X3 3.0si model is powered by 260-horsepower engine while it's automatic transmission choice is now a six-speed gearbox. On the heels of the BMW 3 Series sedan and wagon, the 2007 model year features the roll-out of the new coupe as well as the convertible version based on the modern platform. Introducing the M6 in coupe form in 2006, BMW has applied the 500-horsepower engine and motorsport-inspired equipment to the 6 Series convertible.
