Built by Winnebago Industries, the Le Sharo mini motorhome was a unique departure from the larger scale vehicle models. Based on a front-wheel drive Renault delivery van chassis powered by a diesel engine, the 20-foot Le Sharo first built in 1985 was an effort to adapt to a downsizing trend in the auto industry. Growing slightly to 21 feet in 1990, the Le Sharo brand would end production two years later. Admired for its unusual existence, Le Sharo motorhomes enjoy a cult following amongst some recreational vehicle owners.
