2019 Honda Accord
2019 Honda Accord - Overview
The 2019 Honda Accord has the style of a coupe but the practicality of a sedan. A sloped roofline that mimics a fastback, sharp lines, and an aggressive front grille make the Accord a stand-out sedan with plenty of style. Sophisticated design shines through every curve.
Standard only on the Sport trim is a body-colored decklid spoiler. Sport, EX-L, and Touring also get chrome exhaust finishers to boost the Accord’s sporty appeal. A wide body is a perfect finish to enhance the car’s performance-oriented look.
Available 19-inch wheels make the already sporty appearance of the 2019 Accord even more aggressive. Drivers can choose from a variety of wheel designs, too, like black alloy and bronze alloy wheels, to transform the look of the Accord.
Bodyside moldings, door visors, and rear chrome trim are a few of the available features drivers can choose from to enhance their Accord. Fender emblems are available in chrome and gloss black. A sport grille with chrome, black, or bronze accents can be added to any trim to make a bold statement.
The new 2019 Accord’s interior has been redesigned for a sophisticated, elegant ambiance. Every Accord gets a spacious interior with large windows for a surround-view experience from every angle. Soft-touch accents create a relaxing environment for every passenger.
A split-folding rear seatback, standard on Sport and above, gives drivers and passengers versatile seating and cargo options without sacrificing legroom. The standard cargo area offers up to 16.7 cubic feet of storage space. In the rear seat, passengers still get an ample 40.4-inches of legroom.
An available 8-inch touchscreen display gives front passengers access to audio controls, hands-free calling, apps, and more. A 7-inch touchscreen with customizable settings comes standard with LX and Hybrid models. EX-L and Touring trims also come standard with a 10-speaker sound system.
Available leather-trimmed seats craft a high-quality cabin built with comfort and elegance in mind. Touring gets the additional benefit of cooled front seats. A 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat is included with the Sport trim and above.
A powerful turbocharged inline-four cylinder engine is now available in the Accord, generating 253 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The standard engine in LX is less powerful, but still packs a punch with 192 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. Most trims get a CVT, while Sport includes a 6-speed manual transmission.
Honda Sensing driver assistance technology comes standard on all 2019 Accords with lane keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, and more. A Road Departure Mitigation System alerts drivers of lane drifting. The Collision Mitigation Braking System helps prevent head-on crashes with tech-forward sensors.
