The 2013 Suzuki Grand Vitara is a compact crossover SUV that seats five. It's available in three trim levels. Suzuki has stopped selling vehicles in the United States, so this model may be difficult to find. The Suzuki Grand Vitara is well equipped at the base level; Premium and Limited trim levels are also available. Rear-wheel drive (2WD) is standard; 4WD is available on the upper trims. The 2013 model receives a new front grille and fascia. The Suzuki Grand Vitara competes with the Subaru Forester, Honda CR-V, Ford Escape, and others.
The 2013 Suzuki Grand Vitara is available in white, red, sand, silver, dark blue, black, and dark grey. The Grand Vitara features 16-inch wheels on the standard model, 4 doors and a rear cargo door, power-folding exterior mirrors, and a tow hook. Automatic headlights and keyless entry are standard. The Premium trim level upgrades to alloy wheels and adds rear privacy glass. The Limited trim adds a roof rack and other styling touches, and features 18-inch alloy wheels, a sunroof, fog lights, turn signals on the side mirrors, and keyless entry/ignition.
Standard interior features include automatic air conditioning, power windows with driver's-side auto-down, power door locks, removable navigation system, illuminated entry, front and rear cupholders, manual-tilt steering wheel, full floor console with covered box, mini overhead console, many storage bins and pockets, cloth upholstery, front bucket seats with 6-way driver's seat adjustment and 4-way passenger seat adjustment, 60/40-split reclining fold-flat rear seats, metal-look inserts and shift knob, sound system, carpeted cargo area, folding cargo cover, tie-downs, cargo light, and concealed cargo storage. The Premium trim level adds cruise control. The Limited trim level features leather upholstery with heated front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, interior wood trim, and an upgraded sound system. Cargo space with rear seats folded amounts to 66.3 cubic feet.
Most optional equipment for the 2013 Grand Vitara comes packaged with the Premium or Limited trim levels. Some accessories are offered as individual items.
Under the Hood
The 2013 Suzuki Grand Vitara is powered by a 2.4-liter inline 4-cylinder engine rated at 166 horsepower and 162 lb.-ft. of torque, mated with either a 5-speed manual transmission (standard on the base model) or 4-speed automatic transmission (standard on the upper trim levels). Rear-wheel drive is standard; 4WD is optional with Premium or Limited trim.
