New for 2019: Mazda

The big news for Mazda this year is the redesigned 2019 Mazda3. It returns in hatchback and sedan body styles, offers all-wheel drive, and debuts the company’s latest Skyactiv engine and Mazda Connect infotainment technologies. The popular CX-5 adds a turbocharged engine option and a luxurious Signature trim level, and the MX-5 Miata makes more power for 2019. Other models gain various refinements as Mazda repositions itself as a premium brand.

2019 Mazda 3

Redesigned for 2019, returning in 5-door hatchback and 4-door sedan body styles
Range of engines including a new Skyactiv-X with M Hybrid powertrain promising 30% more power and 20% improved efficiency
6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission
Standard Mazda G-Vectoring Control Plus technology for superior handling
Available all-wheel-drive system

2019 Mazda CX-3

Minor styling and interior materials changes
Redesigned front seats with full leather offered for Grand Touring trim
Revised center console design with more space
New rear center armrest with cup holders
Standard direct tire pressure monitoring, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert
Re-tuned suspension and steering for improved ride and handling

2019 Mazda CX-5

New Signature trim level debuts with luxurious interior materials
CX-5 Signature includes Caturra Brown premium leather seats, real layered wood trim, satin chrome interior accents, white ambient cabin lights, a black headliner, a frameless rearview mirror, a 360-degree surround view camera system, and front and rear parking sensors
New turbocharged 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine option with 250 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque
All CX-5 trims include standard Mazda G-Vectoring Control Plus for 2019, as well as suspension modifications for improved ride and handling
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto added to Mazda Connect infotainment system
Available ventilated front seats, power folding side mirrors, SiriusXM Travel Link services, reconfigurable driver information display

2019 Mazda CX-9

Re-tuned suspension for improved ride and handling
Modifications aimed to create a quieter cabin
Frameless rearview mirror, and both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard for all but Sport trim
Available 360-degree surround view monitoring, ventilated front seats, SiriusXM Travel Link services, reconfigurable driver information display

2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata

Engine makes an extra 26 hp and 3 lb.-ft. of torque, bringing the totals to 181 hp and 151 lb.-ft. of torque
Standard telescopic steering wheel, reversing camera for all trims
Available traffic sign recognition, low-speed automatic emergency braking systems
GT-S Package added for Grand Touring trim, adding Bilstein shocks, a limited-slip differential, and a front shock tower brace
New brown soft-top color
