A Canadian marine manufacturer headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Spencer Boats was founded as a builder of wooden watercraft. Building their first fiberglass sailing vessel hull in 1958, Spencer Boats would refine their construction process through the years. Spencer Boats sold in the United States ranged from 34 to 53 feet in length, the company‘s was most active in the sailboat industry between the early 1970s and late 1980s. Faltering from an economic downturn, 1986 would be the final year for Spencer Boats production.
