The Camry Hybrid was introduced in 2007, offering a gasoline/electric hybrid powertrain that boasted uncanny fuel efficiency and the new body style for that model year. In 2008, Toyota reduced the base pricing on the Hybrid to make it more in line with other Camry models. 2009 saw no significant updates. But in 2010, the Camry Hybrid got a new front end, new instrument cluster and new upholstery. The 2011 Camry Hybrid lost its premium alloy wheels, which were replaced by steel wheels with plastic covers. In 2012, Toyota issued a completely redesigned Camry Hybrid. The 2013 Camry Hybrid got a standard 6 touchscreen console with updated door panel trims and basic updates to optional packages. Aside from a standard backup camera, the 2014 Camry Hybrid was relatively unchanged.
