Another powefull truck built by Nissan, the Nissan Titan made the list for Top Towing Capacity in 2015 alongside the Tundra. Launched in 2004, Nissan pulled the drapes off their brand new, full-sized pickup truck, the Titan. It was comparable to trucks offered by rivals GM and Dodge, offered at a comparative and competitive price tag. For the 2005 Titan, a powered rear window with defroster was made standard for all Crew Cab models, with a new tailgate and a dampened assist being made standard across all models. Updated badging, active head restraints and minor trim updates complemented this model year as well.
In 2006, MP3 integration was offered as a standard feature with an optional locking rear differential. No major changes were in store for 2007. But in 2008, a new long-wheelbase model was introduced, the exterior styling was updated and the interior was entirely revamped. 2009 marked the introduction of the popular Titan Heavy Metal Package trim. In 2010, upgrades to the stability control, side and curtain airbags were made to all trim levels. 2011-2014 only saw revisions made to the trim levels and add-on packages, with minor updates made to the standard features.
