About Murano

In 2003, Nissan unveiled what would ultimately become a best-selling model, the Murano SUV, which lauded a punchy V6 engine and a trademark style. In the 2004 Murano, a 10-way powered driver seat was added, and all models featured satellite-ready radio. The 2005 model got a new rollover sensor for the side impact airbags, and some shuffling to various optional packages took place.

A new exterior trim greeted buyers in 2006, with a 7 LCD interior display made standard and new gauge clusters. 2007 saw the addition of a new tire-pressure monitoring system and seatbelt warning lights. Following a one-year pause, the Murano returned in 2009 as an all-new model with a complete redesign. 2010 saw the addition of remote entry/start as a standard feature across all models, with some tweaks made to certain optional packages. A style upgrade and a new two-door model were offered in 2011. The Murano would coast through 2012 relatively unchanged, with a collision warning and mitigation system being added as a standard feature in 2013.
