Debuting with cargo and passenger version of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter product line in 2010, the Sprinter Cab Chassis marked the German auto company brand's first full-fledged presence in the light-duty commercial market. The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Cab Chassis was introduced with 144-inch and 170-inch wheelbase models. The Cab Chassis version of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter provides the most flexible basis for businesses and enterprises to utilize the vehicle's rear portion described as a "stake-body" setup. Cube van, motorhome and flatbed configurations could be incorporated on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Cab Chassis. Generating 188 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, the 3.0-turbocharged diesel engine for the cab chassis vehicle boasted versatile power as well as fuel efficiency. Since introduction, four-wheel disc brakes and electronic stability control came standard on all Sprinter Cab Chassis models. For 2015, an optional 4x4 version of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Cab Chassis added a new realm of possibilities with potentially extreme applications.
