A Japanese automaker that has devoted itself as a value-driven alternative to other brands, Mazda has offered several sedans in their active line-up. Leading the vehicle brand's current sedan line-up is the Mazda6. Competing against the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, the Mazda6 sedan's sporty design plus the use of SkyActiv technology providing maximized efficiency for the car. Mazda's SkyActiv technology is also incorporated in the modern Mazda3 sedan resulting in fuel economy averaging beyond 30 miles per gallon. While Mazda has largely focused on smaller and family-oriented vehicles in North America, the 1990s featured two exceptions. The full-sized 929 sedan along with the Millenia represented Mazda's short-lived attempt of expansion into a premium vehicle market.
