In 2006, Lincoln introduced a luxury pickup truck called the Mark LT. It was inspired by the popular Ford F-150, adding some interesting luxurious features like a chromed grill and curvier exterior. It featured a powerful 5.4-liter V8 engine that was rated at 300 horsepower. Most of the updates for 2007 were purely cosmetic. Revisions were made to the inside and out, with subtle style changes made to the headlamps, the chrome trim and the interior gauge cluster. Optional 20 wheels were introduced, as were powered folding side mirrors and a GPS system. The warranty on the drivetrain was extended to cover six years or 70,000-miles. The only changes for 2008 included: optional satellite radio, optional rearview camera and remote start.
