Lexus RX 350 Models and RX 350 History

In 2007, Lexus renamed the RX 330 to the RX 350 and upgraded the engine to a more powerful 3.5-liter six cylinder that could produce 270 horsepower, 47 more than the previous years model. The 2009 RX 350 offered some new cosmetic updates, including a new grille and new door handles, and very desirable graphic 18 wheels made available as options. The only addition for the 2009 model year was the optional Pebble Beach edition. In 2010, Lexus introduced the redesigned RX 350 with an updated and more curvaceous body style. Model years 2011 and 2012 saw no significant changes made to this vehicle. In 2013, the RX 350 was updated again with a newer style, and Lexus included previous optional upgrades, like a powered liftgate and USB/iPod integration, as standard features. Minor updates were made to various trim levels during this model year as well. The 2014 RX 350 offered a standard 115-volt outlet in the rear, and added new safety features like a collision warning system. Optional iPhone integration was now offered, too.
