Lexus NX 200t Models and NX 200t History

Introduced in 2015 as an all-new compact crossover vehicle line from Lexus, the NX production car was heavily derived from the LF-NX Concept first unveiled in 2013. Based on the same platform as the Toyota RAV4, Lexus exterior styling direction gave the NX a decisive upscale and sporty design. The 2015 Lexus NX 200t is the first vehicle from the luxury vehicle builder to feature a turbocharged and direct-injected 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Capable of producing 235 horsepower, the NX 200t can be paired with front-wheel drive or an all-wheel drive configuration. Particularly well-suited for urban driving, the Lexus NX 200t offers 22 miles per gallon fuel economy with all powertrain choices. LED headlights, acoustic glass windshield, 10-way power driver's seat and an eight-speaker sound system list just a few standard features found on the entry-level crossover. The attractive sport utility look, use of technology and pricing appeared to resonate with premium vehicle buyers following the Lexus NX's first full year of sales. Combined sales of the NX 200t and NX 300h resulted in the athletic urban crossover vehicle being the third highest-selling model from the Lexus brand in 2015.
