The model`s nameplate harkens back into Range Rover history when it served as a code name for the brand`s 1969 pre-production vehicles. The production Range Rover Velar combines styling cues of the Evoque and Range Rover Sport models while also standing out with characteristics such as flush door handles and the application of. Modern luxury is on full display inside the 2018 Velar topped by the standard inclusion of a Touch Pro Duo control system featuring twin touchscreens for operating infotainment equipment. Base and S trim levels of the Velar are powered by a standard turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine generating 247 horsepower while the SE is equipped with a 380-horsepower supercharged V-6 powerplant. Available in base, S or SE trim level, the 2018 Range Rover Velar will also be found in R-Dynamic SE and R-Dynamic HSE featuring opulent touches such as burnished copper grille details, Drive Pro Package and wheels featuring a Satin Dark Grey finish.
