About LR2

The Land Rover LR2 made its debut in 2008, offered as the replacement for the popular Freelander compact SUV. It offered signature amenities and unique style, powered by a 3.2-liter inline six-cylinder engine that was rated at 230 horsepower. In 2009, the SE trim was discontinued and the HST option package now featured a new body kit. Between 2010 and 2012, no major changes were made, with exception to a few minor trim adjustments. In 2013, Land Rover introduced a more compact engine that got better gas mileage. The 2014 LR2 featured small upgrades like a new touchscreen control console, upgraded satellite radio and an optional premium 17-speaker Meridian audio system.
