The 2007 XK series was redesigned by Jaguar and offeredan aluminum medium, a more spacious cabin, a brand new body style and severalnew luxurious creature comforts. Later in the year, Jaguar would introduce acoupe and a convertible XK model. In 2008, Jaguar hid the radio antenna (in therear spoiler) and made a few minor cosmetic changes. They also discontinued theBritish Racing Green body color. The 2009 XK offered more standard as well as optionalgear. All XK models would boast 19 wheels, parking sensors in the front,powered folding side mirrors, premium surround sound audio system, satelliteradio and USB inputs. The Bowers & Wilkins premium stereo system and theXKR Dynamic Handling Package were offered as optional add-ons.
The 2010 XK offered an available direct-injected 5.0-literV8 engine. The interior featured some modish but mild changes as did theexterior. A few minor changes were made to the trim levels and options. In2011, Jaguar released the limited edition XKR175 75th-anniversary coupe thatfeature signature black paint, a more ergonomic body style and several optionalfeatures not available on other models. In 2012, Jaguar introduced the XKR-S. They also unveilednew rear fascias, new LED running lights and new head lights. The interior wasupgraded and a backup camera was added as a standard feature to all models. The 2013 XK came with 20 wheels that did away with the19 wheels of the prior years model. A Touring trim was also added and a newPortfolio Pack was introduced. In 2014, Jaguar rolled out the limited editionXKR-S GT coupe, offering only 25 for sale in the United States.
