Isuzu NPR HD GAS CREW Models and NPR HD GAS CREW History
Almost identical to the gasoline-powered NPR crew cab complete with the modern-looking low cab forward appearance and robust V-8 engine power, the NPR-HD is created as a higher capacity commercial truck. A main difference between the base NPR and NPR-HD is the use of larger 14-ply tires on the latter vehicle. Resulting in a 1.1-inch increase to the overall vehicle height, the Isuzu NPR-HD Gas crew cab's GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) is 14,500 pounds. With a body/payload allowance between 8,442 and 8,503 pounds, the maximum capacity for the NPR-HD Gas Crew is nearly 2,200 pounds greater than the base gasoline model. The Isuzu NPR-HD Gas crew cab model is propelled by a 6.0-liter Vortec V-8 engine furnished by General Motors. Generating 297 horsepower and 372 pound-feet of torque, gasoline power is directed through a six-speed automatic transmission equipped with double overdrive gears. The crew cab body style for the Isuzu NPR-HD provides enough space of a maximum capacity of seven occupants. Ergonomically designed to handle a hard day's work, the simple interior of the NPR-HD Gas crew cab is sculpted by Isuzu's exclusive Hexapod cabin philosophy.
