About G35
Along with the introduction of an all-new, super-sleek G sedan in 2003, INFINITI added a two-door sport coupe version of the car for the first time. INFINITI's first two-door model since the M30 sold between 1990 and 1992, the G35 Coupe incorporated a stunning, modern shape and well-balanced chassis dynamics. Described by INFINITI as having a ‘racing-inspired foundation', the 2003 G35 Coupe was standard equipped with four-wheel ventilated disc brakes and aggressive tires mounted to 17-inch wheels While the INFINITI G35 Coupe and sedan share a 3.5-liter, 24-valve V-6 engine, performance has been specially tuned on the two-door version of the car for 280 horsepower (a 20-horsepower advantage over the G35 sedan. In 2005, maximum performance of the INFINITI G35 Coupe was bumped to 298 horsepower when fitted with a six-speed manual transmission. Exterior styling was mildly refreshed on the sport coupe in 2006 while INFINITI Intelligent Key was standard on automatic G35 Coupe models for 2007. The INFINITI G35 Coupe would evolve into the G37 Coupe for the 2008 model year.
