Cadillac CTS-V Wagon Models and CTS-V Wagon History

Introducing the CTS Wagon in 2010, Cadillac proceeded to create a high-performance model the following year. The CTS-V Wagon presented luxury car buyers with the availability of a powerful, yet practical vehicle. Similar to the CTS-V Sedan, the 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Wagon was powered by a high-output supercharged engine. A powerplant generating 556-horsepower and 551 pound-feet of torque, 6.2-liter V-8 engine could be paired with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. It takes only four seconds for the CTS-V Wagon to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour. Fast-responding Magnetic Ride Control accompanied heightened engine performance of the CTS-V Wagon. The suspension of the high-performance Cadillac wagon could be set to a Tour and Sport driving mode. Other exterior enhancements made to the CTS-V Wagon included HID headlights, Brembo brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 performance tires paired with forged aluminum 19-inch wheels. Inside of the 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Wagon, standard front sport seat featured perforated suede-like microfiber inserts. Optional Recaro performance seats provided race car-like support inside the high-powered Cadillac. Also found within the cabin of the CTS-V Wagon were standard high-tech convenience items such as a Bose 5.1 surround-sound system and an infotainment unit with a 40-gigabyte hard drive. A glide-up screen in the center of the dashboard contains the navigation system as well as a viewing screen for the rear vision camera. Possessing high-end performance, the Cadillac CTS-V Wagon also presents space for up to 58 cubic feet of cargo. Rainsense automatic windshield wipers were added to the standard features list of the sport luxury wagon in 2012 while a two-piece front brake rotor set was made available in 2013.
