The small stature of the entry-level ATS and the potency found in Cadillac's V-Series combined in 2016 with the American luxury car builder's first ATS-V Sedan. The ATS-V Sedan represents the first application of a twin-turbocharged V-6 engine in a Cadillac V-Series performance product. Cadillac's Twin Turbo 3.6-liter V-6 powerplant is highly-engineered for optimized efficiency with low-inertia turbocharger turbines and a patent-pending low-volume charge cooling system. Resulting in 464 horsepower of engine power that can be channeled through either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission, the Cadillac ATS-V Sedan can reach a top speed of 189 miles per hour. For handling the massive horsepower, the ATS-V Sedan is strengthened for performance by functional exterior design elements and an upgraded chassis. Stiffer structure, Magnetic Ride Control damping, Brembo braking system and standard electronic limited-slip differential provides surefooted control inside the sport sedan. A Carbon Fiber package and Performance Data Recorder are optional on the Cadillac ATS-V Sedan.
