The Bentley Continental GT V8 is powered by an Audi-sourced 4.0-liter engine similar to the one found on the S6 and S7 Sportback. Generating 500 horsepower, the twin-turbocharged engine propelled the 2013 Bentley Continental GT V8 featured gasoline direct injection and cylinder deactivation technology.
Despite delivering impressive 0 to 60-miles per hour acceleration in 4.6 seconds, the 2013 Bentley Continental GT V8 also achieves respectable EPA-rated fuel economy of 18 miles per gallon.
