Bentley Bentayga Models and Bentayga History
The Bentley Bentayga introduction for the 2017 model year is the end result of a long development process in the super-luxury vehicle maker's first crossover. In 2012, a concept vehicle called the EXP 9 F was unveiled to the public but received less-than favorable reviews on the design. Poor reception of the EXP 9 F concept ultimately led Bentley to a different direction with the Bentayga production vehicle. Much of the styling adjustment converting the idea of the concept car into the Bentley Bentayga was done to the front end through a cleaner, sleeker look. Built on the same platform as the latest generation Audi Q7, the Bentley Bentayga enjoys all-wheel drive and 663 pound-feet of torque from a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter W12 engine. A two-piece glass roof, an optional 1,950-watt Naim for Bentley Premium Audio setup and wireless connectivity are a few of the luxury traits found on the Bentayga. Customization of the Bentayga's cabin is possible with different leathers, wood and carpet options to choose from. The 2017 Bentley Bentayga will feature a First Edition trim that adds an exclusive Breitling watch.
