The BMW X6 M debuted during the 2010 model year by presenting power and handling characteristics to complement the exciting styling of the Sport Activity Coupe. More aggressive styling such as a unique front air dam and 20-inch alloy wheels differentiates the X6 M from the conventional X6 model. An Active Drive suspension system was also incorporated on the vehicle lowering the ground clearance by 0.4 inches. High intensity discharge headlights and large disc brakes with four-piston calipers were standard on the X6 M. Propelling the 2010 BMW X6 M, a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8 engine produces 555 horsepower and 501 pound-feet of torque. The high-technology, high output powerplant was combined with all-wheel drive and six-speed M sport automatic transmission. Suited for exceptional acceleration and impressive handling, the X6 M can launch to 60 miles per hour from a standstill in 4.5 seconds. Dynamic Stability Control as well as Dynamic Performance Control is included on the BMW X6 M designed to keep the vehicle precise, stable under certain driving condition. The four-passenger interior of the X6 M has been adorned with performance themed styling touches with leather and aluminum trim accents. Standard features include power-adjustable front sport seats, Bluetooth connectivity and iDrive system. Optional equipment available on the BMW X6 M includes full LED lighting, side-view camera and a Rear Climate Package that allows each passenger to enjoy their own zone of temperature.
