All New and Used V8-Vantage Model Years and History
The Aston Martin V8 Vantage sports car was created as a lower cost stepping-stone for drivers wanting to experience the British performance brand. Available as a coupe or convertible roadster, the 2011 Aston Martin V8 Vantage presented an enhanced model of the previous model year’s Vantage. Powered by a 4.7-liter eight-cylinder engine, the conventional Aston Martin V8 Vantage models are propelled by 420 horsepower. The performance of the base 2011 model is effective for 0 to 60-mile per hour acceleration in 4.7 seconds. V8 Vantage S models receive an output bump to 430 horsepower and up to 361 pound-feet of torque. The Aston Martin V8 Vantage S coupe as well as the convertible model is also defined thanks to a carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser. A conventional six-speed manual transmission is included standard on the base Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Optional on the Aston Martin V8 Vantage but standard on the V8 Vantage S models is a seven-speed Sportshift II transmission. For 2013, custom trim options as well as a standard backup camera were added throughout this line.
