About RSX

Replacing the popular Integra coupe, the Acura RSX was a premium, sporty two-door. Introduced in 2002, the Acura RSX proved immediately popular with performance driving fans with the presence a 160-horsepower i-VTEC four-cylinder engine and a Type S model pumping out 200 horsepower. The 2003 Acura RSX Type S model was fitted with a six-speed manual transmission that allowed the coupe to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 6.2 seconds. Along with impressive driving characteristics, the Acura RSX would be equipped for comfort. Leather seating, sunroof, automatic climate control and aluminum wheels were available on the Acura RSX. In 2005, the Acura RSX Type S offered 10 addition horsepower equating to slightly faster acceleration. While popular, Acura decided that the RSX coupe did not fit their premium product line-up and the brand dropped the vehicle after the 2006 model year.
