A low-cost economy sedan, the Kia Sephia was initially offered in three trim levels (GS, LS and RS). The Sephia was Kia's only sedan until the arrival of the Spectra in 2000 that ultimately replaced the former nameplate. Kia moved upscale in 2004 with the Amanti sedan fashioned as a value-oriented premium car. In later years, Kia would continue to seek-out the luxury market with the Cadenza as well as the rear-wheel drive K900.
