Mercedes-Benz SUV offerings mimic the style and luxury found in its sedans and coupes while combining convenience, utility, and performance to create all-around capable SUVs with extravagance you can’t find in a lot of competitors. It’s no surprise that the company has been heavily focused on continuing to improve and expand its SUV lineup into 2019 with additions like the GLC 350e plug-in hybrid with 56 MPGe, a new GLE entry-level model known as the GLE 400 4MATIC, and a GLS Grand Edition Package with refined leather seating surfaces. The adventurous G-Class gets a redesign for the model year including a wider and longer wheelbase with a stiffer frame that’s more lightweight than its predecessor, a boosted powertrain, and a reconfigured cockpit focused on front passenger and driver comfort with repositioned seats and upgraded materials. For 2019, Mercedes-Benz has dropped the plug-in hybrid version of the GLE.
