With almost every auto manufacturer scrambling to keep up with the evolving world of SUVs, it’s no surprise that Mazda grants several changes to its 2019 SUV offerings: CX-3, CX-5, and CX-9. The compact and entry-level CX-3 sees mostly exterior styling updates, like 18-inch wheels and a new front grille, but drivers can also benefit from some extra cargo space and storage areas, some more engine power, and available driver assistance systems, like adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking. The CX-9 sees a few new available features on some trims, like ventilated front seats, Apple and Android integration, a surround-view camera system, and a 7-inch customizable gauge cluster. The mid-tier CX-5 receives the most notable changes for 2019, including many of the same available updates as the CX-9, plus a new turbocharged engine and a Signature trim level with Nappa leather upholstery, wood trim, heated and ventilated seats, navigation, and a 10-speaker Bose sound system.
