So far we've driven our QX60 during nice summer months (we really loved the panoramic roof there!) and in harsh upstate NY winters. It handles well in most situations (haven't had trouble in the winter months, although in the worst weather we take the truck) The thing that sold us was the sliding 2nd row seat even with a carseat on it. We’ve found out that certain carseats are too heavy thus its very difficult to slide (Dionos inparticular, but was fine with Graco). When our oldest sits in the 3rd row we bring the 2nd row forward more and all 3 kids are happy. The overall ride is amazing, great control, rides nice, seats are comfortable –love the heated/vented seats and the leather is easy to clean and maintain. To prestart the car you need to first hit the lock button then press and hold the start button twice that is a little more then we are used to with our other cars (you just press the start button twice and viola its on) it’s easy enough to do, but when you’re in the parking lot with 3 kids and groceries it’s a pain in the butt. My 2 biggest complaints are 1 there’s no vent on the side in the 3rd row, they have heat on the bottom but no upper vents for cooling (oldest complained in the summer). Then 2nd complaint is the overall design is tapered down so you loose a lot of visibility in the rear, if you compare it to the pathfinder which is the QX60 cousin it is not tapered in the back so you see much more AND they have 3rd row vents .. doesn’t make sense why they’d remove them in the 60. We did strongly consider the pathfinder for those reasons, however the handling and suspension was not comparable to what is in the Infiniti. I’d say this is a more compact CUV that gets the job done, it has enough features that I am happy and feel extremely safe driving, to name a few: pro Pilot assist and adaptive cruise control, auto rain sensing wipers (at first I scoffed at that but it’s a really great feature to have!) and automatic highbeam. Wish it’s a few inches longer, we have to keep one rear seat down in order to fit our stroller, would be nice to be able to use all seats and have the stroller in the cargo part. Overall happy with the car, and will be sticking with Infiniti long term.
