A benchmark for ultra-luxury on four wheels, Rolls-Royce makes a grand entrance into the 2018 model year with a new generation flagship sedan. Coming 15 years after the major introduction of the previous generation model, the new Rolls-Royce Phantom is re-engineered with modern premium touches. An all-new aluminum architecture for the 2018 Phantom results in a lighter vehicle that is roughly 30 percent more rigidity than the previous model. Touting a ‘Magic Carpet Ride', the new Rolls-Royce Phantom operates on an air suspension and features four-wheel steering. Propulsion from a new 6.75-liter V-12 engine producing 563 horsepower, a heavily sound-insulated cabin area, Night Vision and Vision Assist, collision warning and a WiFi hotspot are some features set to make the Phantom into a modern luxury contender. The smaller four-door Ghost sedan and the two-door Wraith coupe return in lasting glory for 2018 with no significant changes. For 2018, the Rolls-Royce Dawn convertible now joins Ghost and Wraith with the availability of a Black Badge model. As the brand enters 2018, The luxury vehicle world continues to await Rolls-Royce's long-awaited crossover vehicle called the Cullinan.
