Ford’s coupe offerings for 2018 are limited to the Mustang and the Mustang GT, both built for speed and energetic drives, but the latter giving enthusiasts the best in speed, acceleration, handling, and overall sportiness. The Mustang rolls in with plenty of upgrades for the model year, including revised styling for the front and rear, more powerful engine options, and a discontinues V6 engine. Ford also granted the Mustang with available adaptive suspension dampers as part of the Performance package, which also includes 19-inch wheels with summer performance tires and a larger brake system. The new Mustang GT also receives a welcome performance upgrade from its 5.0-liter V8 engine, giving it better fuel economy over previous versions and a boost to 460 horsepower. Although the standard six-speed manual transmission for the GT has gotten revised, Ford offers a new 10-speed automatic as optional equipment.
