the car is very quiet, superb handling. seat is adjustable so it fits your body like a glove ,massages and leans into corners. nearly every feature is customizable: lights, brakes, ride, transmission, audio. just about every feature is automatic. can steer, brake, and park itself. absolute joy to drive.

After owning an AMG SLK, an SL500, & an SL550, we stepped down (Ha!) to a new SL450. It may just be THE best of these previously owned vehicles! One reservation; the V6 doesn''t sound as nice as the V8s, but that''s about it. Now it isn''t quite as quick as the 550 but (Car & Driver) says 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and the 1/4 Mile in 13 seconds @107MPH. Not hyper-fast but plenty quick and we still get over 31MPG on long road trips at average cruise-control speeds @ 75+. Comfortable while handling like a sports car! AND, it cost us $20K less than a comparably equipped SL 550. Such-A-Deal! LOVE-
