Ford’s 2018 sedan lineup is as competitive and capable as ever, bringing back many of the same vehicles in similar forms as their 2017 versions but with a few minor updates that mostly consist of dropping extraneous features and streamlining their offerings. The Fiesta and Focus continue to offer a conveniently-sized sedan with plenty of features for comfort and safety for passengers. The Focus loses an optional turbocharged engine but gains a standard rearview camera, while the Fiesta drops its sporty RS trim level by year’s end, offered this year only as a limited-edition trim. For the Taurus, a turbocharged engine and power-adjustable pedals options were also dropped, but the rest of the vehicle remains unchanged. The Fusion and its line of hybrid and plug-in models went mostly unchanged for the year after undergoing an overhaul in 2017 with new trim levels, interior refinement, and new driver assistance technologies.
