The incredibly powerful, stylish, and high-performing Dodge Challenger might be the manufacturer’s only coupe offering for the year, but it doesn’t really need anything else to steal its spotlight. The Challenger has, for years, been a top contender in sports car segment, bringing bold styling and an unmistakable performance to each year’s model. Although the bulk of the Challenger didn’t see any revisions for 2018, the car did get two new trim levels: SRT Demon and SRT Hellcat Widebody. SRT Demon focuses on a reliable drag performance with powertrain and equipment upgrades and a lighter body weight perfect for top speeds on the strip. SRT Hellcat Widebody gets multifunctional electric steering and a wider body stance than the original SRT Hellcat. Dodge also granted the Challenger with new standard equipment like a 7-inch touchscreen and a rearview camera, while a new Performance Handling Group adds Brembo brake calipers, performance steering, heated and cooled performance seats, and a rear parking assist system.
