For 2017, an all-new Impreza becomes the first to be produced in the United States. The new compact sedan is longer than its predecessor and is powered by a 2.0-liter Boxer engine employing gasoline direct injection. Standard equipment on the 2017 Subaru Impreza consists partly of a 6.5-inch multimedia touchscreen with compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A new introduction to the 2017 Subaru Legacy range is a 2.5i Sport trim level. The Legacy 2.5i Sport gains a combination of styling touches such as a front end featuring a dark gray grille, chrome-accented rocker panels, 18-inch sport-styled wheels and a two-tone interior appearance. On Limited trim level Legacy sedans, Reverse Automatic Braking is now added for extra safety in addition to other advanced safety features such as High Beam Assist.
