Narrowing their focus on providing practical vehicles for the North American marketplace with the discontinuation of the Lancer Evolution X entering 2016, Mitsubishi also entered the year having confirmed the sale of its 5-millionth vehicle in the United States. Running until January 3rd 2017, the Mitsubishi Motors Holiday Sales Event provides special savings in connection to 2015, 2016 and 2017 models. For remaining stock of 2016 Mitsubishi Lancers, Outlanders and Outlander Sports, 0 percent financing for 72 months is available for well-qualified customers through Ally Financial. On 2016 Outlander crossover vehicles, financing includes a $500 Customer Rebate. Factory rebate cash amounts to $2,500 for Lancer and Outlander Sport or $3,000 on the Outlander. A $500 Customer Loyalty Rebate is in effect to reward current Mitsubishi owners as well as owners of Isuzu, Saturn, Scion and Suzuki automobiles. Able to be financed for a 0 percent APR for 60 months, the all-electric 2016 Mitsubishi i-MiEV provides a savings of $7,500 off MSRP by virtue of a federal income tax credit.
