Jaguar's 2017 sedan lineup features a new cub in the form of the XE. The British luxury brand's latest entrant in the ultra-competition small premium sport sedan marketplace. The new Jaguar XE shares the similar aluminum construction as the automaker's larger sedans, offers an InControl infotainment system and features a base 240-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter engine. Arriving new in the United States for 2017 on the Jaguar XE and the XF sedan, a diesel powerplant option is supplied by the Jaguar Land Rover's Ingenium engine family. Available on both 2017 sedans, 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel produces 180 horsepower and 318 pound-feet of torque while delivering highway fuel economy at 42 miles per gallon. The XJ sedan remains Jaguar's flagship for the 2017 model year equipped with full LED headlights and available as a 550-horsepower XJR.
