Lexus has four sedans to offer – entry-luxury ES, sports-sedan GS, compact IS, and full-size LS. The ES is based on the Toyota Camry and competes with the Audi A4, BMW 3-Series, and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The GS does battle with the 5-Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, while the IS competes with the BMW 3- and 4-Series. The ultra-luxury LS competes in a class with the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the BMW 7-Series. The ES is available with a hybrid model and V-6 power, while the GS offers a choice of four-cylinder, V-6, and hybrid models. The IS comes with a choice of four-cylinder or V-6 power, while the LS is offered with a V-8 as well as hybrid powertrain and a long-wheelbase model.
