Starting at around $45,000, the XTS competes with midsized luxury sedans from European manufacturers like BMW, Audi and Mercedes. The XTS offers more interior room and cargo space, however and the availability of a 410-horsepower turbocharged V6 means the XTS holds its own when it comes to performance. Available all-wheel drive increases practicality and fits well with the impressive array of technologies available on the XTS.
The XTS by Cadillac seats four and is offered in four trim levels with plenty of available upgrades. The base model comes outfitted with 19” wheels, suspension dampers (adaptive), automated xenon headlights, LED tail lights, heated and powered side mirrors, rear parking sensors, remote entry/start, two-zone climate control, powered front seats, powered tilt and telescope steering wheel, 60/40 split-folding rear seatbacks, Bluetooth/iPod/USB connectivity, rolling Wi-Fi, 8” touchscreen with GPS and the CUE infotainment system, OnStar and a premium eight-speaker Bose audio system. Upgrade the trim level and you can add features like dual exhaust, illuminated door handles, wood interior trim accents, heated front seats, front parking sensors, parking camera, automated parallel-parking system, collision mitigation system, 110-volt power outlet, 20” wheels, 14-speaker Bose system and more. Under the hood is a 3.6-liter V6 engine that gets 304 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque.
