2016 model year changes
The Ram 1500 is essentially unchanged for 2016, though a few new updates to the interior have been added for this year, most notably a redesigned center console. The Ram 1500 Rebel, a mid-year addition in 2015 returns for 2016, offering air suspension, increased ride height, standard 33-inch tires and a skid plate.

The Ram 1500 already offered truck buyers a whole host of reasons to consider it, with powerful Hemi V8 availability, coilover rear suspension and innovative storage solutions. The Dodge 1500 Ram full-size pickup is offered in numerous trims, sub trims, cab styles and bed lengths. The base model offers seating for two and a 6’ bed length. It’s equipped with 17” steel wheels, blacked out bumpers and grilles, receiving hitch, automated headlamps, lockable tailgate, bedliner (spray-in), vinyl floor coverings, 40/20/40 split front seating, and six-speaker audio system with USB inputs. Upgrades can add all-powered accessories, larger wheels, leather upholstery, larger bed and cab sizes, touchscreen console (starting at 5”), Bluetooth/iPod integration, powered and sliding rear window, LED accent lighting, LED tail lamps, LED interior lighting, rolling Wi-Fi, 10-speaker premium audio system, remote entry/start, HD radio, GPS, collision mitigation system, automated wipers, automated high beams, air suspension, limited-slip rear differential, fender flares, underbody skid plates and much more. Under the hood is an upgradable 3.6-liter V6 engine that makes 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque.
