The 2016 McLaren sports car product range is expanded with the addition of a lower cost model called the 570S. Infused with the British high-performance car builder's DNA and constructed with a carbon fiber undertray, the 570S is powered by a detuned 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged engine generating 562 horsepower. The 2016 McLaren 570S will be roughly $100,000 less expensive than the 650S sports car. Accompanying the 541-horsepower McLaren 650S for 2016 is the 675LT.
Lighter, more powerful and boasting better aerodynamics than the 650S, the McLaren 675LT features a longtail design with an integrated airbrake. Weighing 100 kilograms (220 pounds) less than the McLaren 650S, the track-oriented 675LT's weight shaving consisted off the removal of unnecessary items including interior carpeting. The 2016 McLaren 675LT tops the sports car manufacturer's line-up in engine performance with 666 horsepower.
