Special features for 2016
Part of the charm of the MX-5 has always been its low cost of entry and the 2016 model continues the tradition of attainable fun. With a base price below $25,000, the MX-5 Miata undercuts rivals such as the Scion FR-S and the Subaru BR-Z. The Miata is also one of the least expensive convertibles on the market.

Stacked nicely in the base trim, buyers will get 16” alloy wheels, cloth retractable top, fog lamps, rear glass window, cloth upholstery, tilt-only steering wheel, powered side mirrors and six-speaker sound system. Upgrades can add 17” wheels, sport treated fascias, all-powered accessories, remote entry, media enhanced steering wheel, premium Bose audio system, sport-tuning with Bilstein shocks and sport suspension, xenon headlamps, Bluetooth/iPod/USB integration, remote start and more. Under the hood is Mazda’s new Skyactiv engine version, a four-cylinder that makes 155 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque.
