2016 model year changes

The Dodge Caravan enters 2016 with few changes. The only major change is the addition of a Blacktop Package available on SE Plus and SXT trims. Outside, the package adds 17-inch polished aluminum wheels with gloss black pockets, a gloss black crosshair grille, black headlamp bezels and matching fog lamps, while inside there is an all-black interior with silver accent stitching and matching leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Special features for 2016

The Grand Caravan was one of the first minivans to make it big in North America, and it's still one of the best. The base Grand Caravan starts under $22,000 and that brings a 6-speed automatic, heated power mirrors, keyless entry, 2-zone air conditioning, standard stability control, tire pressure monitoring and a host of air bags. EPA-estimated mileage on the highway is a strong 25 mpg.
The Dodge Grand Caravan is an American family staple, able to host seven passengers and offered in six trim levels. Base trim level outfitting consists of: 17” steel wheels, heated and powered side mirrors, two-zone climate control, folding and reclining second-row bench, tilting and telescoping steering wheel and four-speaker audio system. Upper trim levels and options can add triple-zone climate control with rear A/C vents, upgraded audio system, media enhanced steering wheel, Bluetooth/iPod/USB integration, upgraded alloy wheels, chrome exterior trim accents, automated headlamps, leather upholstery, powered and heated front seating, parking camera, standard household electrical outlet, 6.5” touchscreen display, rear-seat entertainment center, fog lamps, second and third-row sunshades, automated wipers, collision mitigation system and more. Powering this vehicle is a 3.6-liter V6 engine that puts out 283 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.
