Dodge offers two coupes for 2016 – the muscle-car Challenger and the high-performance sports car Viper SRT. The Challenger is available in 10 different trim levels: SXT, SXT Plus, R/T, R/T Plus, R/T Shaker, R/T Plus Shaker, R/T Scat Pack, 392 Scat Pack Shaker, SRT 392, and SRT Hellcat. New for 2016 are a few new exterior paint colors – including the return of the classic Plum Crazy – and an available appearance package for SXT and R/T models. Depending on model and trim, the Challenger is available with V-6 or V-8 power. For 2016, the top-end ACR model returns to the Viper lineup, along with the lower-priced GT trim and the GTS trim. Meant to compete against vehicles like the Chevrolet Corvette and the Porsche 911, the Viper SRT has an 8.4-liter V-10 engine and a six-speed manual transmission.
