2016 model year changes

The BMW 4-Series receives only minor changes for 2015. Much of the equipment of the Sport Line is now standard, including high-gloss black exterior accents, sport seats, and an Anthracite headliner. Also, both the Luxury Line and M Sport Line are no longer available, while a Track Handling Package adds 18-inch V-spoke wheels, M Sport brakes, adaptive M suspension and variable sport steering. The M4 also gets standard keyless entry and Harmon/Kardon sound.

Special features for 2016

The BMW 4-series is a stylish car that offers most of the performance and styling of a sports car without compromising too much comfort or practicality. It features sleek, low styling and is available in a few different body styles, including as a convertible. Performance is brisk, but ride and comfort have been carefully balanced to provide a driving experience that is both entertaining and somewhat luxurious. The BMW 4-series competes with sedans and coupes such as the Audi A5, the Mercedes Benz C-Class and the Lexus IS. Prices start at just over $40,000. Starting at around $65,000, the top of the line M4 offers blistering performance and razor-sharp handling but in a practical coupe package. Power output from the turbocharged 6-cylinder engine is impressive, but the smaller engine displacement means fuel economy is still decent at around 20 mpg combined EPA. The M4 is available in both coupe and convertible form.
The two-door, four-passenger 4 Series by BMW comes in convertible or hardtop variations with two trim levels to choose from. Base trim outfitting includes 18” alloy wheels, xenon headlamps, LED front accents, faux leather upholstery, powered sunroof, powered front seating, tilting and telescoping steering wheel, two-zone climate control, the iDrive interface with 6.5” display, Bluetooth/iPod/USB/Smartphone integration and nine-speaker sound system with HD radio. Upgrading can get you features that include remote entry/start, 16-speaker premium Harmon Kardon audio system, larger touchscreen, larger wheels, LED headlamps, leather upholstery, collision mitigation system and more. The 4 Series offers a capable 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 240 horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque.
