The Audi A6 has seen several updates for the 2016 model year. The base 4-cylinder turbo and the supercharged V6 get a significant power bump this year, giving the car much better acceleration and showing off its sports sedan roots. The exterior of the car has also been updated with a new front fascia and new taillights. The interior of the car gets several new color and aesthetic options including contrasting stitching on the seats.

The 2016 Audi A6 is a mid-size luxury sport sedan that offers strong performance while also delivering all-weather confidence and good gas mileage. Audi claims best-in-class fuel economy for the 2.0T model, which achieves up to 25 mpg city, 33 highway. The TDI clean diesel offers even more impressive fuel economy, with returns of 24 mpg city and 38 mpg highway. Advanced technology--whether for safety, information, or entertainment--is where the A6 really shines. It offers blind-spot monitors, a night vision system, a heads-up display, parking sensors, adaptive cruise control and other leading-edge safety features. The A6 is also ahead of the curve with its excellent MMI Touch system, which includes a simplified interface and a scratch-pad controller that accepts input addresses by tracing individual letters. The 2016 Audi A6 midsized sedan comes in six trims and offers seating for up to five passengers. Standard outfitting includes: 18”wheels, the Audi Drive Select system, automated xenon headlamps, LED daytime running lights, LED tail lamps, automated wipers, sunroof, triple-zone climate control, heated and powered front seats, premium leather upholstery, Bluetooth/iPod/USB integration, the MMI electronics interface with 6.5” touchscreen command console and a 10-speaker premium audio system. Upgrades can add a lot more amenities, a few of which include: front and rear parking sensors with back-up camera, collision mitigation system, power-folding side mirrors, remote entry/start, larger 8” touchscreen, chrome accents, LED headlamps, 15-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, heated rear seats, larger (up to) 20” wheels, and much more. A 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque is standard, but can be upgraded to a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that is rated at 333 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque.
